These terms apply to lumamaison.com and to the services and digital products offered by LUMA MAISON (Lenka, sole trader).
Services
Prices on this site are starting points. Every project begins with a written proposal that sets out the scope, price, timing and what I need from you. The proposal and these terms together form our agreement. If the two differ, the proposal applies.
- Payment terms, deposits and what happens if the scope changes are set out in the proposal.
- I only ask for collaborator or staff access to your accounts, never for your personal passwords.
- Reports and recommendations are based on the data and access you provide. Decisions about your business remain yours.
Digital products
- Purchase. Digital products are sold through a payment platform that acts as the seller of record. Its checkout terms apply to payment, VAT, invoices and refunds.
- Delivery. You get a download link right after payment.
- License. Each product comes with license terms (for Profit Studio: the Shop license or the Consultant license) that explain how you may use it. You may not share, resell or redistribute the files.
- Right of withdrawal. If you're a consumer in the EU, you agree at checkout that the download starts right away and that you therefore lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the download has started. If a product doesn't work as described, contact me and I'll fix it or refund you.
Not professional advice
The guides, tools and reports on this site help you understand your numbers. They are not tax, legal or accounting advice. Please ask your accountant or tax adviser about your specific situation.
Liability
I take care to make my work and products accurate, but I can't guarantee that they are free of errors or that platforms such as Etsy, Shopify or Printify won't change how their data works. To the extent the law allows, LUMA MAISON is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, arising from the use of its products or recommendations. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Intellectual property
The website, designs, texts, templates and software of LUMA MAISON are protected by copyright. Work created for a client passes to the client as agreed in the proposal, once it has been paid for.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Slovak law. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country. Consumers in the EU can also use alternative dispute resolution.
